The overarching GCA strategy to help fulfill our mission is based on the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:16-20 where Jesus calls us to “…make disciples of all nations….” Jesus spent most of his ministry preparing his disciples to obey this one primary command.
His other three key words (going, baptizing and teaching) describe how his followers are to obey this command. Following this commission, Jesus expected his followers, by His Holy Spirit, to be multiplying His rule and reign over all nations through establishing new churches among them until He returns to make all things new.
These key concepts form the foundation of the GCA Four Seasons of Church Planting, Growth & Multiplication:
Equipping leaders with vision to proclaim the gospel in word and deed resulting in credible professions.
Equipping leaders to establish (disciple) and baptize all those who profess a credible faith in Christ.
Equipping leaders to develop effective gospel-centered ministries & leaders in a new church.
Equipping leaders to start, grow and multiply gospel-centered churches, networks, alliances & movements in their nation and among all nations.
