The Church Planting Institute (CPI) is designed to bring together key African church leaders who will think and act strategically in planting new gospel-centered churches in West Africa. Our prayer is that the Lord of the Harvest will begin raising up many new African leaders who will help start regional church planting networks that form strategic alliances with other evangelical networks in their regions to birth gospel-centered, multiplying church planting movements throughout Africa and the world. Our desire is that this institute will establish and strengthen Kingdom Partnerships among African leaders who will work with one another and with other ministries in order to create resources and facilitate effective church planting movements throughout West Africa. The West Africa CPI Leadership Team (which includes members of the Ghana Evangelical Committee, the Scripture Union, and the Global Evangelical Church) is co-hosting the event. The sponsors of the event are Global Church Advancement (GCA), New Harvest Mission International and Mission to the World. The CPI Leadership Team is composed of members from several denominations and para-church organizations under the Ghana Evangelism Committee.
